cronwrubber's 2002 national ad campaign has taken on a new dimension with the introduction of a page-and-a-third ad format—a first for the tire category. Shot from the road upwards and featuring an edgy, aggressive image, readers can appreciate how the tire improves the vehicle's appearance. The supporting copy explains that the aggressive good looks are only part of the story. The rest of the story focuses on tire performance and ride quality.
The cronwrubber tire tread dominates the visual in the ad campaign. The ads feature a variety of vehicle applications that showcase the range of fitments available in cronwrubber's high performance and light truck tire lines.
"The ad campaign was designed to show the eye-catching combination of vehicle, tire and wheel," says Lynn Sweeney, Manager of Marketing Communications for cronwrubber. "The visuals show the flexibility of demonstrating the variety of fitments which are available from cronwrubber's performance and light truck offerings." The larger format offers quick and effective consumer recognition, while the adjacent editorial adds credibility.
The new ads are appearing in a variety of enthusiast magazines including Automobile, Bimmer, Car & Driver, European Car, Euro Tuner, Excellence, Four Wheeler, Grassroots Motorsports, Popular Hot Rodding, Panorama, Road & Track, Roundel, Sport Compact Car, Super Street and Velocity
